Laurie Davis opened her second boutique last night, Lulu’s On The Avenue, at the 900 North Michigan Shops at 900 N. Michigan Ave. She is the owner of the beloved Chicago vintage shop, Lulu’s at the Belle Kay. Both locations have an extraordinary, expertly curated selection that will certainly make any vintage aficionado’s heart swoon.
Champagne and hors d’oeuvres from Gibsons were served as guests looked at gorgeous vintage pieces of jewelry. There was even a special appearance by Roni Blanshay, who showed her stunning spring 2013 jewelry collection. Laudi Vidni Handbags are also available at the store. All the bags are custom made in Chicago. The company is very unique and innovative because the customer chooses the color, pattern, style, trim, hardware, lining, etc, of the bags. A percentage of the sales from the event went to the Service Club of Chicago.
