The 27th annual2013 Friends of La Rabida Awards Celebration held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago last Friday honored community and health care leaders committed to children with special health care needs. Second City Style was there and met some of the best dressed as well as the most generous leaders in Chicago.
ABC7 Anchor Ravi Baichwal served as emcee for the evening, which featured dinner, dancing and an exciting live auction. All proceeds benefited La Rabida Children’s Hospital programs and services.

The 2013 Friends of La Rabida Awards recipients were The Reinsdorf Family for Family Philanthropy, Drs. Cheryl and Eric Whitaker for Community Leadership, and Sharing Notes, a musical group founded by Allegra Montanari for Community Partnership.
