A Chicago designer won the Oscars Designer Challenge!
Did you know the winner of the Oscars Designer Challenge was from Chicago? Chicago-based designer Sam Kori George's gown was selected to be worn on stage at the Kodak Theatre on Oscar Night. A total of seven designers competed for this honor and three of them were Chicago designers Moire Conroy, Sam Kori George, and Maria Pinto.
