My Holiday Wish List: Chic & Unique Gifts for Women Over 50

I’m always keeping a running list of fashion finds and little luxuries I fall in love with throughout the year. But there’s something especially fun about creating that wish list during the holidays — just in case someone needs gift ideas! So today I’m sharing the things I’m loving right now, both for the season and beyond.

Maybe I’ll inspire another woman over 50 who’s creating her own wish list, or help someone looking for unique gifts that are thoughtful, stylish and a little unexpected.

To me, the best gifts surprise and delight, but they also need to be useful. My taste can be a little bold (I admit it!), so if you love something here as much as I do, you might like to add it to your own list — or drop a hint to someone doing some holiday shopping!

Chic & Unique Gifts for Women Over 50

black peace love and understanding tshirt

1. Elvis Costello T-Shirt designed and sold by DesignCat, $16

It may sound corny, but this year I truly do wish for peace, love, and understanding. This retro-style t-shirt gets the message across perfectly. It will look cool under a jacket or blazer, and you’ll have the Elvis Costello song stuck in everyone’s head.

2. GOLDEN GOOSE Super-Star Sabot distressed shearling-lined leather slip-on sneakers, $820

I have been obsessing over mule sneakers, and this all-black Golden Goose pair is at the top of my wish list. They’re easy to slip on, lined with cozy shearling, and ideal for winter. Yes, they’re expensive, but it is a wish list, after all!

3. Roger Vivier Belle Vivier Leopard Calf Hair Buckle Slingback Pumps, $1,345

Lauren showed us two coats on her wish list, so I’m going to share two pairs of shoes. I have always wanted a pair of Roger Vivier shoes, and this low-heeled slingback has it all — the iconic pilgrim buckle, patent leather trim, and leopard print haircalf. I love the retro vibe and how they would work with everything from jeans to a little black dress.

4. K-Mini® Single Serve Coffee Maker, Studio Grey, now $69.99

I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve never had a Keurig. At home, we typically make a pot of coffee in the morning, but recently I tried a k-cup at a friend’s house (and again at a doctor’s office). I enjoyed one hot cup of custom coffee so much, now I want one of my own. The grey model will blend beautifully with the décor in my kitchen.

5. Ann Taylor Paisley Jacquard Mock Neck Sweater, now $71.40

This oversized paisley sweater from Ann Taylor immediately caught my eye. The colors are rich and vibrant, and I like the slightly boxy, relaxed shape. I would love to open a gift box and find this cozy piece inside!

cozy lounge set v-neck and pants

6. Barefoot Dreams® CozyChic Ultra Lite® Pajamas in Moonbeam, $198

Speaking of cozy, I could definitely use a “dressier” lounge set for winter. This one from Barefoot Dreams fits the bill. It’s chic enough to wear around the house while still being comfortable, and it’s a big style upgrade from sweats and a hoodie.

rustic brown workout set

7. Amazon BAYDI Clouduxi Workout Tank Top, now $20.93 and High Waisted Workout Leggings, now $24.99

Lauren also introduced me to these workout pieces (see her reel here), and I’m now a fan. I’ve been taking barre classes and realized I needed to update my athletic wear. I’ve already picked up a black set, a purple top, and dark grey leggings — but now I want Lauren’s set in Rustic Brown.

8. Belle Fare Faux Toscana Lapel Coat, now $379.99

A gift doesn’t always have to be something you need. I certainly don’t need another coat, but I would love to add this one to my collection. The silvery grey faux-fur style goes with everything, though I especially love how it’s styled here with all black.

red valentino stud belt

9. Valentino by Mario Valentino Mati Logo Leather Belt, now $124.99

And last but definitely not least, I spotted this bright red-pink Valentino belt at Off-Fifth at a fantastic price. I may only wear it a few times a year, but I know I’d reach for it year-round. This belt would “wow” me if I unwrapped it  — and it would always remind me of Christmas 2025.

Happy Holidays — and I hope you receive at least one thing you truly want this season!
