Celebrity Style: Holiday Shopping Wish List – 5 Items I Need

The holiday season is upon us and you know what that means…it’s time to update our holiday shopping wish list…and then some!
This year, as in the past, I’m turning to some of my favorite celebrities to help me update my closet. I’m enjoying looks worn by Rihanna, Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Lopez, and yes, even a few by Kim Kardashian. Unfortunately, my budget can’t exactly afford everything that’s actually on my list. So, I must do what I do every season and head back to my fashion dream world where money is no obstacle. Holidays are about miracles, right? These pieces would certainly be some of mine.
Here are the 5 items at the top of my holiday celebrity fashion wish list. Now if only I had a star salary and no budget to work with!
Mandy Moore’s Albertina Topshop Booties
A bit of a break from singing and acting hasn’t stopped Mandy Moore from dressing like a celebrity fashion pro. I always love a fashionista who’s entire outfit is defined by an incredible pair of shoes and these boots do just the trick. Moore’s leather pencil skirt and billowing sweatshirt pops with appearance of her white speckled kitten heel booties from Topshop and I’m heading over to Topshop to snap up the booties as we speak. They’re also available in chocolate brown.

Lea Michele in Dolce & Gabbana Beaded Red Dress
Nothing like a glittery, red hot Lea Michele for the holiday season! This dress is so hot for a holiday party – a little too hot I must say! The Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 lace dress the Glee actress wore to the L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth event in NYC is definitely on my holiday party dress wish list because Lea Michele knows how to stand out from the crowd. Also those Swarovski crystal embellishments are just divine.
Alexa Chung in Kenzo Floral Embroidered Dress
I’m a huge fan of dark florals and Alexa Chung pulls the look off nicely in this Kenzo floral embroidered dress that’s great for a stroll around town but can easily transition to night with black tights and killer heels. The peplum embellishment is cute, too. After all, it’s all in the details as Chung has proven. I’d love to have this dress for my very own…or the fashionista’s complete closet, for that matter.
Silk Floral Embroidered Dress, Kenzo, $875
Lily Collins in Givenchy Bambi Sweater
Here’s the sweater that was on everyone’s must-have list this year. The stars couldn’t get enough of Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy Bambi sweater…Anna Dello Russo wore it, Carine Roitfeld wore it, singer Monica wore it, and even Kardashian-West baby North got a mini version. I personally think Lily Collins looked absolutely spectacular in the sweater modeling it as a dress and wearing dark burgundy lips at the Givenchy Paris Fashion Week show. I’d love to have this sweater for my very own collection…unfortunately I probably won’t get the chance as it’s pretty much sold out everywhere by now.
Alyssa Milano in Peter Pilotto Farah Dress
I’m a girl who loves color block, print, and sculptural design. The Peter Pilotto Fall 2013 dress worn by Alyssa Milano has all that and then some. The breathtaking pattern and almost turtleneck collar make for a cool combination with strong shoulders and lots of detail. Apparently, the crepe dress was inspired by Spanish Renaissance artists. It’s quite a looker and I would love to have it for my very own.
Farah Paneled Crepe Dress, Peter Pilotto, $1571.50
