I admit I have an obsession with white teeth. Yes, I sometimes drink coffee and red wine through a straw and am quick to try any and all teeth whitening products. This urge might explain why I tried Rembrandt’s Intense Stain Dissolving Strips as soon as I opened the package and um, didn’t notice/read that they were dissolving! Hear me out, I had just returned from a two-week beach vacation and had run out of my other strips (yes, another brand) which you remove after 10 minutes. I had also recently tossed a box of strips which burned my gums from yet another brand. I had the need to whiten my teeth ASAP and could not believe my good fortune when I opened the package that awaited me. So after 10 minutes I went to remove these strips and lo and behold….they were impossible to remove! I started to panic and sweat. How the hell was I going to get them off? Would my teeth dissolve? That’s when I grabbed the box and noticed the words ‘DISSOLVING STRIPS.’ Serves me right for not reading before trying. It also proves that all strips are not created equally!
