Second City Style was thrilled to catch up with Bobbie Thomas – Style Guide and TV personality to discuss her successes with Latisse solution – and active involvement as a Latisse ambassador. The buzz around the treatment has exceeded the expectations of many, including Thomas herself, in which case she credits the prescription for restoring her lashes after having worn false eyelashes for many years. Thomas quickly pointed out that Latisse solution is not to be confused with a simple over-the-counter cosmetic product – for consumers who are interested in trying this miracle enhancer must seek the guidance and advice from their doctor to determine if it's a good fit. Thomas also noted that she began to see results after about four weeks, with daily usage. "It’s important that people know that what separates Latisse for their competitor is that it has been approved by the FDA, and that's something that they (consumers) can be assured of", said Thomas. As with any prescription treatment, side effects are unavoidable, but individuals should consult with their health care professionals for specifications of clinical studies, and anticipated results.

In addition to her long-list of well noted accomplishments, Thomas is also an ambassador for the Latisse Wishes Challenge, which raises funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. "I'm so proud to be a part of this charity; we've raised more than $375,000 and there's still a lot more to go." SCS was also happy to learn that as a style-guide, Bobbie is an advocate for independent style image when it comes to women and their fashion sense. "Women should reinvent their style (for fall) and always keep in mind that style does not equal expensive." Here, here, sister!
