Yesterday I was invited to the London Fog Designer Collection launch event hosted by model Chrissy Teigen and attended by designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka of Badgley Mischka, Cynthia Rowley and Chris Benz who all showcased pieces from their collection for London Fog and posed for photos under a rain machine. The event at Root Studios here in NYC made for quite an intimate setting where editors and photographers could get up close and speak to each designer. I wish more launches were handled this way. I loved it!
The event celebrated the first ever designer collection for London Fog featuring well known and established designers. The capsule collection includes outerwear and umbrellas from each designer and launched online yesterday at londonfog.com and will be available later this month at stores including Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom.com and Hudson’s Bay.

Chris Benz with his coat and umbrella design
Chris Benz designed a clutch along with his floral raincoat and umbrella. There is also a men’s olive floral lined jacket available (which he is pictured wearing above). The raincoat is $250, the umbrella is $60, there is a shorter, travel size umbrella for $50 and the floral clutch is $75.

Cynthia Rowley’s colorful woven printed double-breasted trench I knew was hers immediately! The trench is $350 , the umbrella $60 and the travel umbrella, $50.
Badgley Mischka for London Fog
The designers created a beautiful embellished women’s trench which comes in both sand and black for $400. The matching umbrella is $60 and the travel size is $50.
