ASH + AMES Luxury Jewelry Launches In Chicago

ASH + AMES founders Amy Noble and Trisha Ashworth
ASH + AMES founders Amy Noble and Trisha Ashworth hosted an event to launch their new luxury jewelry brand at the Langham Hotel in Chicago last Thursday. The duo are known for their best-selling book ‘I Was A Really Good Mom Before I Had Kids’ and have been featured on Oprah, The Today Show and 20/20. Amy lives in New York and Trisha lives here in Chicago, but through the years have continue to stay friends and work together (just like Second City Style, so I was totally on track with them). They told me while they were traveling together and witnessed how hard the women artisans of Haiti worked on their jewelry – that’s when they came up with their idea. They could empower female artisans around the world and give back to developing countries with online sales and shopping events.
The ASH + AMES collection is beautifully curated! There are many modern pieces (which I personally adore) and also elaborate and shimmery bling with gorgeous pave diamonds, so there is truly something for everyone. The pieces are offered at almost every price point, too, ranging from $150 to $5,000 so every woman can give back – and sport a piece of gorgeous jewelry at the same time!
With balance as the foundation, Trisha and Amy strive to proide women new avenues to convey their unique voice and style. Every piece they offer tells a unique story of the artisan’s craftsmanship, the materials involved, and the environment from which it comes. Each season a portion of the pieces are created by women in developing countries, of which 100% of the proceeds return to their communities. They also offer women who host ASH + AMES events the option to donate 10% of their retail sales to a charity of their choosing. As you can imagine, this can lead to many more great stories!
