Demi Moore has officially joined husband Ashton Kutcher as the latest celebrity to confirm participation in “The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway". The Moore/Kutcher couple will make their debut in the play The Great White Way, one original play out of six that will be performed on Nov. 9 at the American Airlines Theatre. The annual event, sponsored by MontBlanc, was first started by Tina Fallon in 1995, and since then, several hundred short plays have been created and produced at festivals and theaters around the world. In the newest broadway version, several A-list celebrities have signed on to join the team. In total, 24 actors, 6 writers, 6 directors and 2 musical guests will write, rehearse and perform six original plays in the span of 24 hours. One writer will also be chosen from an online competition, also sponsored by Montblanc, at Talenthouse.com. Moore and Kutcher will join a co star lineup of Jennifer Aniston, Eva Mendes, Rosario Dawson, Liev Schrieber, Emmy Rossum, Billy Crudup, Julia Stiles and Rosie Perez. Proceeds from the Broadway show will go to benefit the Urban Arts Partnership.
