Alexis Bittar and Nicola Formichetti are teaming up again! They are expanding their working relationship by creating runway accessories for Tierry Mugler. Past collaborations for the designers include Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Madonna, Alicia Keys and Cameron Diaz. The show is slated for today at La Halle Freyssinet in Paris. Formichetti gave followers a sneak peak and Instagrammed the photo above.
“This season, the collection for Mugler has a retro Sixties vein to it, so we focused on futuristic physics in jewelry, where sculptural metal is almost kinetically suspended from the body,” said Bittar. It is the jewelry designer’s second runway collaboration for fall this year. He also worked with Phillip Lim during New York Fashion Week.
