Accessories Report. Lanvin Makes Eyewear Deal with Italy's De Rigo

Now we can wear even more of Alber Elbaz’s genius designs on our face! In a new venture in the eye wear world, French house Lanvin has signed a worldwide license agreement with Italy’s De Rigo Vision SpA. The contract includes the design, production and worldwide distribution of a new line of  sunglasses and prescription frames.
De Rigo’s other licensed brands including Givenchy, Loewe, Ermenegildo Zegna, Céline, Escada, Blumarine and Carolina Herrera. The company also controls the optical retailers General Optica in Spain and Portugal; Opmar Optik in Turkey; and Boots Opticians in the U.K. We can’t wait to see what classically eccentric styles of frames they come up with! Expect the first styles out in December.
