A Peace Treaty Robe Designed Exclusively for W Hotels of Chicago

A-Peace-treaty
On Friday July 31st CFDA {FASHION INCUBATOR} designer A Peace Treaty launched the perfect rockstar lounging robe, just in time for the Lollapalooza weekend! This luxurious, handmade silk robe was designed exclusively for the W Hotels of Chicago (both Lakeshore and City Center). The collaboration is part of the W brand’s ongoing, global partnership with the CFDA {FASHION INCUBATOR} program.
Room-Service-Brunch
I had the great pleasure of  meeting A Peace Treaty’s Creative Director and Designer, Dana Arbib at the “ROOM SERVICE” celebration launch brunch on the Wet Deck at W Chicago Lakeshore last Friday. I told Dana what I appreciate most about her jewelry and accessories is how the designs strike the perfect balance of modern and geometric with tribal and organic. She replied that’s exactly what she wants to accomplish! She certainly gets it right and as a result her pieces are timeless.

A Peace Treaty, W Robe, Jewelry
Here I am modeling the W robe with A Peace Treaty jewelry.

The robe is a very dark navy and works well with all shades of denim. The wavy print design was inspired by Chicago’s Marina Towers (the “corn-cob buildings”) keeping the W’s stylish traveler. It’s chic enough to be worn both indoors or out. Now that kimono style jackets are on trend, you could wear it over jeans and a t-shirt. Or you could look totally cool by the pool and wear it as a coverup as well. I plan to wear it for all of the above! Dana told me she wanted the robe to be lightweight so a traveler would purchase one to wear on their trip or to bring back as a gift. I like the idea of bringing it on my next trip!
