Oscars 2026 Red Carpet Fashion: Best Looks, Unique Gowns and Style Misses

The Oscars are always the grand finale of awards season, and this year’s red carpet delivered exactly what we’ve come to expect from Hollywood’s biggest night: unforgettable glamour with a few risk-taking couture moments mixed in.

At the 98th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, film stars arrived in dapper tuxedos, body-hugging gowns, and looks that blended old Hollywood elegance with today’s biggest fashion trends. From strapless mermaid silhouettes to intricate embroidery and dramatic trains, the night once again proved that the Oscars remain the ultimate stage for fashion.

Most Unique Gowns

Jessie Buckley in Chanel

You might be wondering why I decided to start with this gown. It wasn’t the most extravagant look of the evening — but it was certainly one of the most interesting.

Apparently the design was inspired by a similar look worn by Grace Kelly, which makes it both innovative and classic at the same time.

Also, congratulations to Jessie Buckley on her Best Actress win!

Barbie Ferreira was invited to the Oscars as part of a batch of up-and-coming stars that were invited to bring new energy to this year’s ceremony. She easily became one of the best dressed of the night.

Demi Moore in Gucci

Auli’i Cravalho in Antonio Marras

Not on the worst dressed list but…

Miyaka Belizzi in Dior
Wunmi Mosaka in Louis Vuitton

This might be one of my favorite looks of the night. The color is gorgeous on her.

Kinda wondering why Sigourney Weaver chose Valentino that looks like a curtain.

I know everyone loved this, but I’ve always been against wearing washed out pink on the red carpet.

The Oscars red carpet never disappoints when it comes to fashion. While some stars embraced timeless Hollywood glamour, others experimented with dramatic silhouettes and bold design choices. One thing is certain — awards season always gives us plenty of unforgettable style moments.
