Come, let’s stop thinking of the immigration ban for just one moment and focus on the biggest fashion moments of the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) – on the red carpet. This is where Nicole Kidman wore parrots on her gown and Thandie Newton looked like she literally put a futuristic Westworld on her dress.
From Emily Blunt’s gorgeous embroidered dress to the multicolor metallic stripes on Michelle Williams’ Louis Vuitton, the stars decided that colorful print and pop were the king and queen of the SAGs. Bold sequins, geometry, art deco, leaves and florals were just some of the gorgeous motifs on the red carpet.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Let’s check out some of the craziest, coolest and prettiest looks at the 2017 SAG Awards!

OK…not exactly floral or fauna but I had to put Meryl in somewhere! Her dress could have been altered to her figure better.
The Basic Dresses
I say basic because it’s the basic red carpet dress. Solid, streamliend looks with perhaps a bright color, a necklace or dramatic makeup for embellishment. It’s the kind of dress you wear to the Golden Globes if you want to be safe. Still nice, still pretty – but safe.
