It’s February, and while spring is still a distant dream, we’re already eyeing next fall’s fashion! New York Fashion Week Fall 2025 just wrapped up, and I couldn’t resist diving into the latest collections. I found some seriously swoon-worthy looks straight off the runway that women over 50 will absolutely love. Personally, I’m all about these looks—and I think you’ll feel the same way. They’re fresh, chic, flattering, and best of all, easy to move in. Who says runway fashion can’t be comfortable?

Brandon Maxwell
Brandon Maxwell nailed it with this layered, tailored look that brings a modern twist. A sharp white blazer pops beautifully under a bold black-and-white Glen plaid coat, giving the whole outfit major impact. He pairs it with a sleek side-zip sweater instead of the usual blouse or shirt. It’s the perfect balance of claasic and unexpected.
Calvin Klein
Veronica Leoni’s debut as creative director at Calvin Klein brings us some beautiful looks that we love and are reminiscent of the brand’s 90s modern styling without being a complete throwback. This black button-front shawl coat, worn over slim pants and kitten-heeled pointy boots, is a classic example. It wraps you in warmth, comfort and an effortless sense of style—everything women over 50 deserve.
Sergio Hudson
I’ve come to adore Sergio Hudson’s menswear-inspired looks that have a feminine edge. His gold metallic woven pant suit is tailored to fit an flatter. It exudes major star power (Elvis would approve!). He pairs it with a black funnel-neck top, leather gloves and pointy-toe pumps—simple yet stunning.
Carolina Herrera
Wes Gordon, who I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and adore, has brought a more youthful energy to Carolina Herrera since he has become creative director of the brand. This classic Carolina Herrera white shirt look is easy-to-wear with slouchy black trousers—perfect for day or night. I can totally see this becoming my go-to uniform! It’s timeless.
Michael Kors
No NYFW is complete without Michael Kors, and this year’s show didn’t disappoint. His asymmetrical midi knit dresses are the ideal combination of cozy and chic. I’m loving this olive green sweater dress, especially with the tie-neck scarf detail at the collar and the built-in hand-warmer sleeves. When paired with a statement pendant, underarm clutch, and knee-high chocolate boots, this look is made for women over 50 who love effortless style.

I luved all the looks. The first one in plaid was so striking, it made me review all the others.
The gold suit is really great, and the white blouse with black pants would be what I would wear.
