FILA Teams up with Urban Outfitters
Next Monday, FILA will launch an exclusive collection at Urban Outfitters. The line will consist of polo shirts, athletic jackets and an update of the 1993 Cage high-top basketball sneaker, but also some unexpected pieces such as front pocket jeans, raglan sweatshirts and snap front miniskirts. Prices range from $28 to $128 and will be released in 94 Urban Outfitters stores and online.
Kara Ross Partners With Dennis Basso and Stuart Weitzman
Kara Ross and Dennis Basso have partnered up before, but for Spring 2016 they will join forces once again for a line of bags and totes made from bright leathers with amazing embellishments. Ross also has a new nonprofit philanthropic initiative and jewelry line for later this year. It will be called “Diamonds Unleashed” and Basso was so into the idea he suggested incorporating it with his runway show. Stuart Weitzman got involved by creating a shoe with Basso for the runway, a strappy sandal. The shoes are expected to be available by mid-November.
Xavier Dolan: The Face of Vuitton Men’s Campaign
Xavier Dolan, the rising filmmaker, is putting time in front of the camera too as the new face for Louis Vuitton’s fall men’s campaign. The images are due to break in October magazines beginning with Esquire in the U.K. The shots will spotlight the new leather goods range Ombré.
