I know we all wish we had unlimited funds to spend on friends and loved ones, but that’s not realistic. What is realistic are these amazing gift ideas I found that all come in under $50. Granted most (OK all) are for women, but let’s face it, women are more fun to shop for. Besides, the holidays mean beauty gift sets and we LOVE to give and receive them! Take full advantage of holiday gift sets since they are usually a brand’s best deals of the year.
I recently shared I have had to become a green beauty blogger out of necessity, so the hunt is on! My skin is no longer reacting well to preservatives and other gunk found in many beauty and skincare products. One premium skincare brand that kept coming up in research and recommended by friends was Tata Harper. Therefore I knew I needed to try some of the products. The line was founded in 2010 by Tata Harper with the brilliant idea people no longer have to sacrifice their health to look and feel beautiful.
I swear we have been discussing the statement coat for years now, but I promise this season it’s a little different. OK, it’s a little more over the top. If it’s loud – wear it! You knew I was going to say velvet right? Velvet pants and jeans are going to be my jam this fall and winter. One, they feel luxurious. Two, they add texture and dimension to any outfit. Three, they go with everything you already have in your closet. Four, it’s easy to find velvet pants and jeans for under $100, actually even under $50. Just be sure they look rich and not cheap. I’ve already expressed my love for velvet jackets and velvet shoes. So why not go all in with your bottom half?
