Spring/Summer 2012 Trend: Mustard Up

Don’t you dare put ketchup on your hotdog! Only mustard will do, especially in Chicago. I learned that the hard way. I was at my a Chicago street fair my first week living in Chicago (it was July) and I went to put the red stuff on my hot-dog and screams of horror came from my friends witnessing this apparent heinous act. Now I love mustard. I even like the color. Good thing too, because mustard yellow is just as popular as bright yellow this spring 2012. Just take a look around some of your favorite sites and stores and you will see what I mean. Mustard looks best with black and beige. However, if you are one to throw caution to the wind, it also looks stellar with orange. Here are 10 mustard picks we are loving right now:

2. Zimmermann Drawstring Plunge Jumpsuit, $350

4. Viktor & Rolf Belted Dress with Ruffled Hem, $790
