If you follow us on Twitter, you may have already heard the news. And if you live in Brooklyn, you might have heard me jumping up and down and screaming the news from my rooftop: Rent the Runway is outfitting me (one of the SCS Editors) and Lauren (our fearless Editor-in-Chief) for Fashion Week.
In case you don't know (or, ahem, don't read every post we write), Rent the Runway lets you rent amazing designer dresses
at a fraction of the retail cost. They're perfect for me: I have
couture tastes and a Gap budget. I want to look amazing as I climb the
ladder of success, but I also want to be able to pay my rent. By
renting, I get to look like a rock star in designers like Herve Leger,
Lela Rose, Alice & Olivia and Yigal Azrouel (all of which you'll see me in during NYFW), without resorting to eating kibble to foot the bill.
YES! I LOOK FORWARD TO #GROWINGYOUNGER

Lauren's getting great looks, too. She's a hot new mom, and while
she looks smokin', she's not quite back to her pre-baby body just yet.
Rather than pony up tons of money for clothes in a size she'll soon be
too small for, she's borrowing some beautiful clothes in a transitional size.
We'll be showing you pictures of the great dresses we're wearing each day to inspire you. And even though there's already a huge waiting list to join, they're letting Second City Style readers jump the line by signing up here. And stay tuned for a special Rent the Runway giveaway!
