In celebration of the brand’s 20 year anniversary NARS Founder and Creative Director François Nars has launched a brand new collection of 40 unbelievable lipsticks. The NARS Audacious Lipstick Collection pays homage to the original 12 shades that started it all for NARS two decades ago. These new innovative, pigment-rich lipsticks are formulated to deliver an intense, full-coverage finish in a single stroke, while nutrient rich ingredients smooth, moisturize and volumize. The 40-shade collection features a full range of hues from neutral nudes to striking reds and bold pinks.
The best part may just be the packaging. The modern, sleek, matte-black metallic case has a magnetic closure that snaps shut when the cap is replaced. It’s rather cool, but beware…any metallic items in your makeup bag that come in direct contact with the case will adhere to it – which I kinda love.
Thirty shades in the NARS Audacious Lipstick Collection have launched at NARS boutiques and www.narscosmetics.com. The additional ten retailer-exclusive shades will become available at Barneys New York beginning September 1.
