Congratulations to Chicago's Ikram Goldman! The legendary local retailer and famed adviser to The First Lady has been tapped to receive the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Legend of Fashion Award.
The award will be presented to Goldman by Sally Singer, editor of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, during SAIC's annual student fashion show and fund-raiser on May 5.

And here's news you may have missed: Goldman is reportedly planning to open a new, larger store! Welcome back Chicago's high-end retail scene!The space in the works is reportedly a 10,000- to 12,000-square-foot bi-level store and cafe along Huron Street that will feature both men's and women's apparel and will open around the same time as the awards ceremony. Congratulations to our very own Ikram!
