Jeffrey Sebelia, the brooding, tattooed winner of
"Project Runway" Season 3 is the designer of Cosa Nostra which is now available for pre-order at Ron Herman.
Sebelia emphasized his naughty-and-nice persona by creating T-shirts featuring a pair of screaming women (one was labeled as Ron Herman, the other as Sebelia’s label, Cosa Nostra) and giving them away as party favors at a launch party at the store last Saturday. He also signed two $550 handbags that sold at the event. In addition to the purses, which are best sellers from Cosa Nostra at the boutique, Ron Herman is selling exclusively a $1,300 green-and-white striped dress with yellow zippers snaking around the V-neck bodice, a $1,250 blazer and $562 gray peg-leg trousers, all from Sebelia’s "Project Runway" collection. Sebelia plans to open a store next year at Sunset Plaza.
