The Recap And Fashion Drama of The RHONY Season 8: Ep 1

“Diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend, martini’s are!” Seriously? And don’t fine wines get better with age? Not time. But Ramoaner ain’t gonna say the word “age” ever baby (especially now that she’s a cougar on the prowl. One with no game I might add). Who would want to draw attention to the fact they are the oldest person in the now 7 character Real Housewives of New York cast? And by characters I mean characters! Are these women for real? Yes. Yes they are.

Louder Than Bomber Jackets

The Bomber jacket is the transition jacket that is literally the bomb. This is obvious considering they have been on trend for a few seasons and are still as hot as ever! I did a post on them back in February called An Early Spring? Bombers Away! Well I still have not bought one so I thought I better get on it and guess what? They are selling out like hotcakes. So if you have not bought your bomber jacket for these spring cool days and evenings hop to it!

Denim, Denim Everywhere: Denim Accessories

Dark blue, light blue, white, black. Our love of denim shows no signs of ever stopping. Now it has evolved to denim accessories. Especially when you notice designer brands like Fendi, Gucci and Valentino with gorgeous denim handbags for spring ’16. And let’s not forget about Jimmy Choo, Vince and Manolo Blahnik denim shoes. So I started poking around a and found denim accessories at every price point.

Wearable Trends: Victorian Style Secrets

What was once old is new again is a fashion mantra. This spring, not just one single trend but an entire era of yesterday is on full display for all of us fashion-lovers to appreciate. Victorian-inspired fashion is trickling its way into our spring wardrobe and I must admit, I love it. High necklines, ruffles, brocade, rich colors and textures and full sleeves are now all spring-appropriate looks, proving that less skin can be more.

Put Some Spring In Your Step With Block Heels

Thank God it all comes back to the block heel. Roger Vivier can be credited with this shoe silhouette which was considered very new and different 1965, when it came down the Yves Saint Laurent runway. Actually that one had a square toe and looked more like a Pilgrim shoe with it’s large metal buckle. In fact the same shoes has been brought back this season, I digress. I just love my fashion history.

What is old is almost always new again especially when it comes to fashion so it should come as no surprise block heels are once again on trend for spring.
