We’d like to thank the London Times for their superb coverage of Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika. In my humble opinion, this is what’s ahead for couture– not the wretched pink catastrophe otherwise known as Prive. Hobeika’s designed for the modern woman without having to scream and draw attention to himself. Instead, he options to play with proportion and draw inspiration from the tactility of his fabric. Per usual, he’s fascinated with a woman’s um, upper proportions, and isn’t shy about titillating his audience with playful, fluid form.– Amy Ko, Senior Editor
