Sometimes subtle is better than screaming. At least that’s what Gustavo Lin reminds us in with his Fall’ 07 collection. Tailored jackets were paired with wrapped silk shirts and densely embroidered necklines stood their ground next to the morphous personalities of silk and leather and whispering silhouettes. A palette of pale plums, pinks and more dramatic hues of navy and black and bright white whisked down the runway. Paired perfectly with the somewhat mysterious shiny smiles, the pale faces were marked by stand-out lips the like his collection were indicative of modern glamour. –Amy Ko, Senior Editor
