NY Fashion Week Fall '08. Reem Acra's Old Hollywood Glam

Summary: There are two things you come to expect form Reem Acra…satiny evening gowns and taking her final bow with her pooch dressed in one of her outfits. She did not disappoint. Old Hollywood glamour is to be expected from the designer, but what pleasantly surprised us were her daywear confections with a bit of sparkle and sheen. This time she also experimented with black and nude combinations and appliques of hammered antique gold, felted flowers, sequins and feathers. However, we love her pleating and draping which was best represented in stunning navy to aubergine ombre chiffon and silk.
