It seems Nicole Richie couldn't wait for the apparel collection for her House of Harlow 1960s line to debut to showcase her clothing design skills. The socialite turned super mom has just released word that she has taken on a new design venture that's close to her heart—and her belly. Maternity chic label A Pea in the Pod has joined forces with the currently pregnant star to create a limited edition capsule collection after Richie's trademarked bohemian style. The collection will be available in stores from early August to late January, and will feature maxidresses, tops, and bottoms for hip, expectant mothers. Richie reported shooting some images last week for the upcoming ad campaign with photographer James White.
