i.s. designs is a newly launched line by Chicago native, Ilissa Shefferman. Her love of vintage is apparent in her wearable designs that complement today’s fast paced lifestyle.

After working in international trade in Washington, DC and traveling the world for a decade, Ilissa felt that she had not given her love of fashion a chance to flourish. After much soul-searching, and a gentle nudge from her husband, Ilissa decided to move back to Chicago in 2003 to realize her dream of becoming a designer. Ilissa returned to school and studied Fashion Design at Chicago’s International Academy of Design and Technology. She then interned with Chicago designer, Lara Miller before launching her own line in 2006. More details
