Summary: Julie Haus‘ Spring ’09 collection was called "Not a Wallflower"…and it absolutely isn’t for a shy girl! Bordering-on-neon colors, sharp details on the front and back of garments, and downtown-cool prints puts whoever wears these clothes right in the center of attention. There were dresses, gorgeously constructed coats, luxe-looking t-shirts, shorts, and skirts that evoke the hip chick whose mother told her to wear well-made clothing. And if you saw a print you liked on a garment you didn’t love, each print was ingeniously used on different shapes and pieces. Really pretty details like raw-edged flowers appliquéd on dresses mixed perfectly with statement trenches with dramatic collars as well flattering wide necklines on roomy-but-body-conscious tops.
Color Palette: black, white, pink, silver, gray, canary, yellow, blue, orange zebra, blue plaid, yellow stripe, orange leopard, salmon, turquoise, black & white zebra

Fashion is such a tricky industry to predict, because what is here today is gone tomorrow. Regardless, it’s fun to guess what’s going to be “in” for the various season.
