Now that its been confirmed my beloved Fashion's Night Out will continue through the coming seasons, its even more exciting to hear that the off site venue of Milk Studios will also be maintained, at least for the next two years. Estée Lauder Group president John Demsey stated that Milk Studios will remain a venue for the fall 2010 shows in February and even when New York Fashion Week changes locales to Lincoln Center next September, the M.A.C.-sponsored satellite location will remain at Milk Studios. “We’re committed to Milk for the next two years,” Demsey said, adding that M.A.C. will also be backstage at Lincoln Center when the changeover takes place, but as backstage makeup, not as an official sponsor. When asked what ticks he has up his sleeve for the February shows, Demsey said, “Halloween is New Year’s Eve for us, so we’re going to make it through Halloween, then we’ll get back to it.” More juicy Fashion Week confirmations to come!
