I don’t know why, but ever since I saw the Louis Vuitton Spring ’13 collection I have wanted a bright yellow pump. I suppose it’s the 80’s wild child still within me. I adore this Manolo Blahnik BB Patent Pointed-Toe Pump, $595, but unless the shoe has a red sole, I am going to assume any yellow pump is cheap by virtue of it’s glaring color. I just don’t associate such a color with luxury I suppose. So why spend this much if you don’t have to? Let’s see what I found in way of a yellow pump. Now I admit some are neon and others lean more towards mustard, but either way…they are still pretty damn bright yellow!

I had a pair of bright yellow patent flats back in the late 80’s and I wore them to death. It is amazing how versatile a pair of yellow shoes can actually be.
