LollaShop, Lollapalooza’s official pop-up shop, returns for its second year as a unique extension of the popular festival and the only place for ticket and non-ticket holders to purchase official Lolla merchandise before the gates open. New this year is the launch of LollaCart in the Shops of North Bridge.
The LollaShop will be open to the public starting Friday, July 26, and will serve as an extension of the festival with shopping and one-of-a-kind music experiences. The shop will offer the complete lineup of Lolla-branded gear, the official commemorative T-shirt provided by Gap, as well as merchandise and services from Goorin Bros., Fender Musical Instrument®, Heritage Bicycles General Store, BucketFeet, Jojo and Sofia, Blowtique, Third Man Records, Edith Hart, and Stumptown Coffee. Everything from stylish hats and hairstyles to vintage accessories, bicycles, women’s festival wear and cult coffee will assure every customer can leave fest-ready. For fans that weren’t able to get passes to the sold-out festival, LollaShop will be giving away free tickets during Shop hours!
Between browsing, shoppers are welcome to hang out in the LollaShop Lounge and take in live performances on the Fender Stage, participate in yoga sessions, enjoy the selfie stations and more. Fender will have a variety of guitars throughout the Lounge, each plugged in and outfitted with its own set of headphones for private demo sessions.
Blowtique will offer festival braiding, hair chalking, and hair accessories for the complete festival look. They will also host flash braiding happy hours throughout the Shops run.
Heritage Bicycles General Store will feature custom-made bicycles including a special-edition Lollapalooza bike that will be raffled off for auction and available for purchase. Heritage will also have a Stumptown Coffee counter serving hot and cold coffee, Glazed and Infused donuts, and the Magnolia Bakery Lollapalooza Cupcake.
If you need a juice-up, mophie has you covered with their complimentary charging station for a variety of devices. While you’re waiting, check your skills on the Stern Pinball machines.
Flat Out Yoga, a 45-minute Vinyasa, will be led by instructor Margo Kellison on Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4, at 8 am. In addition to the complimentary class, attendees will receive a Flat Out Hunger Intervention Kit with snacks to rejuvenate after the session.
Debuting this year, LollaCart will be an extension of LollaShop located at The Shops at North Bridge on The Magnificent Mile. The festival kiosk will have Lolla-branded gear and the official commemorative T-shirt provided by Gap available for purchase.
