Liberty London's New Ad Campaign For Iphis Line

Liberty’s in-house accessories collection has just debuted its own ad campaign. It was designed by the creative team Colville-Walker and photographed by Qui Yang and inspired heavily on London heritage. The campaign features their coated canvas bags, that are printed by hand in Italy, dangling from the Nelson’s Column or part of the Liberty building. The agency’s creative director Christopher Colville-Walker said he wanted to, “build a colorful and abstract journey through the city.” and was inspired partly by a Liberty brochure from the Fifties showing scarves wrapped around a drawing of Nelson’s Column. Liberty will reveal three new Iphis bags, that were inspired by Liberty’s Ianthe pattern, an Art Nouveau wallpaper design dating back to the early 1900s, this June. The bags, Kingly, Carnaby and Maddox, are all named for streets around the Liberty store.
