High Low Fashion Over 40: How To Properly Wear White Boots This Winter

Its a new year and if you’re like me, you want a new look for 2018. I’m seeking new proportions for the new year, even when it comes to casual staples like black leather and denim. To add a little drama to an otherwise casual outfit, try white boots for winter. That’s right. You can wear them even if you are over 40. Here’s how to properly wear white boots this winter.

I’m crazy about this Alexander McQueen black leather moto jacket. The belt at the waist gives it slimmer proportion than a regular oversize moto jacket and it works perfectly with high waisted cropped jeans, which happens to be my favorite style of denim at the moment. I recommend them for everyone and if you don’t already own a pair – get on!. They showcase your shoes and booties so why not shake things up this winter with a pair of bright white boots?

How to Wear White Boots

There’s no huge secret to wearing white boots, simply pretend they are black boots. Hold your head up high and be a little brave. Yes, they will be noticed. If you love them you will make them work! Since white is a neutral color they will go with all other colors, prints and fabrics but you may want to keep the colors rich and stay away from neon brights.
