Talk about looking good for your age! Luxury fashion house and timeless icon of style, Gucci will celebrate its 90th birthday this year. To celebrate and pay homage to their founding year, the label is releasing a limited-edition '1921' collection this summer. The collection will consist of revamped versions of the label's classic staples such as the Bamboo, Jackie and Horsebit bags, each made over in new fabrics and colors.
Other items expected to be included are shoes—which The Independent predicts will include the brand's signature moccasins, riding boots and loafers—as well as jewelry, watches and the ever popular styles of sunglasses with their intertwining G's. The collection will be available exclusively at Gucci boutiques and online starting in June.
The Independent also let a slip an interesting little tidbit—Marc by Marc Jacobs will also be celebrating its ten year anniversary this year with its own capsule collection of greatest hits so stay tuned for more details on that!
