Gilt.com and CFDA All-Star Scholarship Awarded To Kieran Dallison

Gilt.com and CFDA partnered to give scholarship winner Kieran Dallison a brilliant opportunity that helps support America’s top design students. Dallison is a graduating senior at the Fashion Institute of Technology. As part of the scholarship, Gilt.com took part in assisting Dallison in creating his first women’s ready-to-wear collection that is featured on Gilt.com beginning today. In order to receive this amazing opportunity, Dallison was chosen from a handful a previous CFDA scholarship winners and current design students.

The lucky up-and-coming designer was chosen from a group of five finalists and by the fashion industry’s top professionals. Judges included CFDA members Prabal Gurung and Stacey Bendet, general manager of the women’s division at Gilt.com Jyothi Rao, Deputy Director: Programs and Operations, CFDA, Lisa Smilor, and Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar Glenda Bailey. Those included as a panelist also took part in mentoring Dallison while he created his new collection.

Pieces from Dallison’s collection include floral print pieces and fun tops for the warm weather, along with jersey knit dresses and navy one piece outfits. Prices for the pieces are in the $100’s.
