Last night was the Apparel Industry Board’s turn for their fashion show "Chicago Is…Red Hot" at Millennium Park. This was not your typical runway fashion show. Not by a long shot. 42 Chicago designers presented everything from children’s, men’s, bridal, evening, casual, handbag, shoes and jewelry in a constant and sometimes dizzying stream of glitz and more glitz.
The show had a much different feel and run of designers than that of GenArt and Macy’s shows earlier in the week and was clearly aimed at Gold Coast (or Palm Beach) society.

Sansappelle by Judy Sachs again. I wish I got a good shot of the dress behind this one too. The fur caplet accessory was the right touch for the gown.
