Things were festive at Roslyn (2035 N Damen Ave) on Wednesday evening when the fashion-forward boutique hosted a holiday trunk show featuring Elise Bergman and Abigail Heche. Guests sipped Grey Goose libations (your choice of pear or lemon) and nibbled on appetizers provided by Star of Siam while browsing exclusive designs and limited edition pieces by the niece-aunt designer duo.

Bergman’s multi-wrap dress was a hit — I saw at least 10 different styles created by the one piece of innovative fabric. Equally impressive was the wool shrug sweater that could be worn in varying ways — pinned around your shoulders, worn like a cape or open like a vest. Also on display was a wide variety of cocktail-perfect looks like cotton halter dresses and sweet ruffle scoopneck dresses with a versatile tie at the waist.
Abigail Heche Jewelry Designs
At Heche’s jewelry display, guests were gathered round the wide array of elegant necklaces, sparkling bracelets, stunning rings and glamorous teardrop earrings. There was a constant crowd oohing and aahing over the colored diamond necklaces, and the 18K white diamond rings were especially popular.
As happy customers waved good-bye with Roslyn shopping bags in hand, this holiday party came to a successful end.
