MNG by MANGO opened the doors to its newest U.S. store located in Water Tower Place, Chicago on October 28th. This is the first MNG by MANGO store to open in the Chicago area. The store offers a full range of women’s clothing and accessories.
With a new delivery of merchandise twice a week, the MNG by MANGO store displays all of the company’s current lines, which include both accessories and a higher-end limited edition collection. With a focus on detail, MNG by MANGO relies on fabric and fit to create fashion forward clothes with a European sensibility. The Fall 2006 collection offers a clean silhouette, feminine shapes and a palette filled with grey, black, red, chocolate and ivory. A blood red printed wrap dress offers a retro feel while a reversible herringbone trench provides a new take on an old classic. Leggings, a staple for the season, are offered in traditional black and animal prints while a black jersey cocktail dress is taken from day to evening by removing a nipped-waist blazer.

The first US store opened last September in Costa Mesa, California â€œThe desire to be present in one of the most important world markets has accompanied MNG by MANGO since its international expansion began in 1992,â€? explained Isak Halfron, the design firm’s Expansion Manager. â€œBecause of MNG by MANGO’s worldwide reputation and the current infrastructure within the company, we felt this was the appropriate time to enter into the U.S. Market.â€?
