Jim Shi reports for FashionWeekDaily.com that Michelle Smith, the designer who catches the eyes and dollars of celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel McAdams, and Cameron Diaz will be offering a new resort line to compliment her successful collection of flirty dresses called Milly. In collaboration with Punta Mita, the Mexican locale that’s the collection’s namesake, the line will be geared towards those with a penchant for taking a haute holiday.
“My resort line consists of different pieces that come together to dress a woman in a style that is sexy and sophisticated with a twist of fun,” said Smith, who will be traveling to the resort in the coming weeks to begin the first stage of this collaboration. “Whether sipping cocktails poolside, or having a girls’ night out, the Milly collection has something for every occasion.” Her resort pieces are inspired by the colors, allure, local culture, and ambience of Punta Mita. The collection will boast a series of colorful feminine dresses, swimwear, bold beach bags, and sportswear.
