But who are the faces behind the the label?
Founded in March 2002 by designers Christopher Crawford and Angela Deane,the NY designers has presented their collection at NY Fashion Week, including two well-received shows at Mao Space. In 2005 he was even sponsored by Revlon and staged that show at their HQ. WWD raved with many kudos, including "This promising young due has always delivered flirty party frocks that maintain a certain quirkiness. Fall’s versions were charmers, but this season the designers also went that extra mile for day,infusing their designs with more than a soupcon of French flavor." Most recently they worked with Cover Girl on a commercial that featured their 2006 collection and have worked with celebs from Mischa Barton to Mary Louise Parker.
And who says the smarties are strangers to the fashion scene? Crawford and Deane met as students at the University of Florida where he was a triple major in sculpture, philosophy and sociology and she was a double major in art and writing.
