According to WWD, last Friday U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized a shipment of counterfeit Ed Hardy apparel at JFK Airport in New York. The shipment contained fake Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier tank tops and pullovers with a domestic value of $50,000 and a manufacturer’s suggested retail price value of $1.4 million. apparently the shipment was headed for New Jersey. So be careful the next time you decide to save a few bucks on that normally $150 t-shirt, especially when in Jersey.
