This May 2015, perfumer Kilian Hennessy (yes of the cognac Hennessys) will launch fresh and playful renditions of his top selling fragrances; Good Girl Gone Bad, Straight to Heaven and Bamboo Harmony. By Killian fragrance is a celeb favorite brand worn by the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
For this collection Hennessy collaborated with artist Sophie Matisse to illustrate this unique reinterpretation of these three cult classic scents in three 1.7 oz. Eau de Parfum collector bottles.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek/sniff of them all!
Good Girl Gone Bad – Splash of Neroli
Sophie Matisse hand paints an orange and pink romantic design with a touch of yellow to illustrate the fresher floral bouquet of the fragrance Good Girl Gone Bad. Originally launched in 2012 this is heaviest of the three. It includes notes of jasmine, rose, amber and cedar.
Straight to Heaven – Splash of Lemon
The white cristal inspires a blue and green fresh whirl to Sophie Matisse. Just as you add lemon to your water, the splash of lemon offers an invigorating version of the sexy, rum-inspired scent. Yet the fragrance is not that light. It also has hints of nutmeg, vanilla and musk.
Bamboo Harmony
Sophie interprets Kilian’s mythic fragrance with an explosion of colors. The scent pays homage to bamboo, the main component of the calligraphy brush, which, in Chinese culture, is the representation of art and beauty. The fragrance has notes of bergamot, white tea fig leaves and oak moss.
By Kilian x Sophie Matisse – Spring Fragrance Collection will retail for $195 each.
