Clarins' New Spring 2015 Beauty Presented by Makeup Expert Robin Black

Robin Black Makeup Artist For Clarins
LA based celebrity makeup artist Robin Black was in town to present Clarins’ new Spring 2015 skin care and makeup to Chicago beauty editors at Macy’s on State Street. This year’s collection includes a powerful line up of protective skin care rich in plant extracts, like the new  Clarins UV Plus Anti-Pollution Sunscreen with SPF 50 and Clarins Everlasting Foundation+ SPF 15 that gives a flawless look while it protects. It even has the sent of fresh watermelons!
Clarins Daily Duo
Robin said, “Don’t forget your Daily Duo!” The Daily Duo is one serum and one moisturizer, such as Clarins Double Serum with Clarins Multi-Active Day Correction Cream. I know I’ll be adding a third item to my duo to make it a trio:: Clarins Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate. I’ve been using this eye cream day and night for only a week and see fewer wrinkles.
 Clarins Everlasting Foundation+ SPF 15
Many of the new products add much needed moisture like Clarins NEW Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil. It consists of 100% pure plant oils in a new treatment that enhances the beauty of lips. And Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick comes in two new shades for spring: Rose Petal and Coral Dahlia.
Clarins spring 2015 Makeup
The Spring 2015 color collection includes Clarins LIMITED EDITION Garden Escape 6-Colour Eye Palette Wet & Dry and Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector that feels like a balm and shines like a gloss.
Robin Black has a fabulous sense of humor. She showed us tricks to drain pressure points on your face and said “I do this and it really works, but my boyfriend thinks I’m crying or something…” You can see the video on Clarins website.

Robin’s extensive background includes makeup artistry for major fashion shows in New York, Paris and Milan, as well as photo shoots and for celebrities on the red carpet. She told me she has been in celebrities’ homes and sometimes saw more than she wanted to! It’s not all that glamorous. She once had to quickly cut the hem off a Dior gown with her scissors right before a celebrity hit the red carpet. Another time a celebrity needed to borrow her socks. “How disgusting!” Robin said, because her shoes were slipping and she had to go up on the awards stage! She did makeup for Cindy Crawford and she said is truly beautiful, dispelling the Photoshop rumors. “I saw her without clothes,” Robin vouched. Just a few years ago she did a photo shoot with Cindy and they didn’t use any foundation on her face! Read Robin’s blog BeautyIsBoring.com.
