Christian Siriano with eDrop-Off founder Corri McFaddeneDrop-Off hosted an exclusive trunk show withChristian Sirianoat their shop at 2117 North Halsted Street last Thursday. I looked forward to seeing the designer again. We have interviewed him several times when he been in Chicago and have covered his shows at New York Fashion Week. A Project Runway favorite, Christian has made it on his own, with a knack of creating collectable and sophisticated pieces with enough edge to appeal to women of all ages. Of course I am one of them! This was indeed a special trunk show, because I was quick to notice reasonable prices on his designer pieces that evening.

Guests clamored to meet the energetic and accommodating designer! He was so sweet to everyone. We enjoyed shopping, cocktails and (another eDrop-Off prerequisite) sweet treats!

Since I knew it would take a bit of time before I could talk to Christian, I decided to shop. I found this fabulous coat (yes, I really do need another black coat!) He checked the shoulders and made sure it fit me properly. How often do you get fitted by the designer in person? It was a treat.
