Co-host of the evening, Jaslene Gonzalez, gets ready before the show
Last night marked the First Annual Midcoast Fashion Show at Lumen nightclub. Hosted by Mix Media Group, the show was created to highlight Chicago as the fashion capital of the Midwest, and to feature a diverse collection of fashion from both coasts. The master of ceremonies for the evening was radio personality Julian from the B96 morning show. His co-host was America's Next Top Model and Chicago native Jaslene Gonzalez, who rocked a chainlink dress by Chicago designer Anna Hovet, and watched as her brother, Javier, strutted down the runway. The funds raised throughout the evening went to benefit Autism Speaks, a charity that raises awareness and provides support to children living with autism. In addition to the amazing cause, the event drew crowds interested in checking out the latest fashion trends from both local designers as well as cutting edge names from around the country.
