When the news broke that Christian Siriano's book, Fierce Style: How To Be Your Most Fabulous Self was hitting shelves, a collective cheer went up around America. Women in all parts of the country who had followed Siriano's success from a lovable contestant on the first season of 'Project Runway' to a lovable standout designer, were finally given the chance to read his personal insights on style. And after reading the review of the funky fashion guide by our beloved editor, Lauren Dimet Waters, I had to get myself a piece if the Siriano pie. Luckily for me, Christian was making an appearance at Saks on Michigan Avenue to promote and sign copies of his newly minted tome last week. I would like to say I meandered over, but it was more like a mad dash. I found him on the second floor, amidst a salon boasting his gorgeous fall line, in all of his princely glory. He was just as fun and frisky as I expected him to be (and only slightly taller than my 5'1 frame!) and obliged me with a photo in which he posed, how else, fabulously fierce.
