Chicago Sun Times SPLASH magazine and Kristina McGrath partnered together for the upscale fashion event Shopping for Love this past Friday in the McGrath Acura showroom. I spent the evening shopping some of the most fabulous collections offered by an array of Chicago boutiques. What fashion-minded gal in her right mind would pass that up?! Another great thing about the evening is the $10 suggested donation went directly to the American Heart Association.
It was as posh as they come with hors d’ oeuvres being passed and Prosecco flowing like water and the most energetic DJ that I’ve every seen! It was almost impossible pick and choose what to take home among all of the great pieces from the retailers. eDrop-Off, Laudi Vidni, Sarca, Sara Jane, Luxury Garage Sale, Atlelier Azza, Lulu’s at the Belle Kay and Dana Rebecca Designs all showcased gorgeous designer clothes, vintage jewelry and accessories, and fine jewelry (my personal favorite!).
Spa services were also available those attending from AMAZINGCOSMETICS, Astro Wifey and Leah Chavie. It was the perfect way to kick off my weekend. Plus, I went home with some new goodies to wear for my weekend shenanigans!
