Chicago Event: Clarins Double Serum Launch At Macy's Water Tower Place

Clarins Ambassador Christopher Truffa at Macy’s Water Tower Place Launch

Clarins Double Serum launched at the beginning of this month and we were invited to Macy’s Water Tower Place last Wednesday to celebrate! Christopher Truffa, Clarins celebrity skin care specialist and Erin Cohen, Clarins PR Director told us all about the serum and I even had the opportunity to try it!
Are you wondering, “What’s the ‘double’ part about this serum?” Well the bottle has a unique Hydric+Lipidic System where there are actually 2 side by side chambers. The hydric and the lipidic ingredients get mixed together only at application. This enables an otherwise impossible combination of water- and oil- soluble ingredients to come together for optimal absorption. A perfect balance for your skin, since it is also made up of oil and water. Clarins Double Serum is proven to work for all skin types, all ages and all ethnicities. You can use it in all seasons too, since it is a perfect balance that is not too oily or too dry.
Women in a test group noticed results after their 1st application and I can say I did, too! This serum is instant moisture for you skin. Women tested also said they noticed younger looking skin after after 7 days and proven performance after 4 weeks on all signs of aging: firmer skin, reduced wrinkles, more even skin tone and less visible pores. The price is very reasonable at $85.
Erin Cohen tells us about Double Serum and Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25

The next exciting announcement was Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25 which is premiering first at Macy’s. Every cosmetics brand has a BB cream these days, but this one by Clarins with its natural balance is divine. It comes in light medium and dark shades $40.

Christopher also showed us the fresh new Rouge Éclat Spring Make-Up Collection. Now that we found out how to hydrate our skin, and protect and perfect with BB Cream, he said to simply dust with Clarins Loose Face Powder.
Then he told us all we need is the super rich and moisturizing Clarins Rouge Eclat Lipstick,$26 from the Rouge Éclat Spring Make-Up Collection. I tried several colors, and I really like the Tropical Pink 04. The texture of this lipstick is really creamy and it’s long wearing, too. Christopher showed us how to apply the lipstick using a brush. And there you have it! You’re ready to go for Spring 2013.
